Hi there PoorRug fam! It has been a while since our last major update, and today we would like to inform you of the new milestones we’ve achieved at PoorRug HQ. In this community update, we will go through the features we have been developing and let you know what to expect in future updates.
PoorRug Farming and Ruggies Staking
The PoorRug liquidity mining has finally ended with over 2.9K USD of liquidity added to Uniswap. However, this isn’t the end. To further incentivize liquidity providers to keep their ETH and Poor on Uniswap, we have decided to remove Poor Staking for minting Ruggies and will be significantly increasing the amount of Ruggies minted for users that stake Poor/ETH LP tokens.
PoorRug genesis NFT launch
Our genesis NFT launch is almost ready. These genesis NFTs are extremely rare and will become sought after in the PoorRug card game that is currently in development. To access the NFT marketplace, you will need to have at least 500,000 Ruggies in your wallet. So make sure you have that amount before the official genesis NFT launch, the genesis NFTs come in extremely limited supply and are provided on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Decentralized Gambling
We are also launching the first prototype of our first decentralized gambling game, PoorJack, where users can stake / wager $Poor and compete for different prizes such as exclusive NFTs. PoorJack will be the first of many Casino games we will be releasing on the PoorRug ecosystem.
At the same time, we are exploring layer 2 solutions for implementing our decentralized gambling games. At present, SKALE Network seems to be a promising solution in terms of providing lower transactions fees and faster interactivity. We will soon be inviting PoorRug community members to be our beta tester and will be rewarding them with genesis NFTs for their participation.
Strategic Partnership
We are currently in talks with a highly-reputable project to establish an official strategic partnership. This partnership will strengthen the PoorRug ecosystem, provide greater utility and use-cases for $Poor tokens and PoorRug NFTs. More details to be released soon! Stay Tuned.
